OH MY GOD MY VOICE IS SO ANNOYING It really bugs me to hear my recorded voice too. The pitch everyone else hears is higher than what I hear. Awesome performance, Bobby. I have to admire anyone who can spin the wheel left-handed. (I'm a lefty writer, but a righty spinner.) |

I have to admire anyone who can spin the wheel left-handed. (I'm a lefty writer, but a righty spinner.) I'm a lefty everything but it just felt awkward during the rehearsal. I thought I was twisting my back strange. |

I felt comfortable doing it left-handed.
Notice that one of my spins in R4, I kind of recoil a bit and pull the Wheel back a bit before spinning. I might not have landed on LAT had I not recoiled like that, but it didn't hurt me in the end.
Also, why didn't I go for the G's in R1? Because I knew I was likely to hit LAT or Bankrupt if I spun again.

Bobby, I'm so sorry for missing your episode! I had it DVR'd and then somehow accidentally erased it this morning when I was trying to get rid of some older episodes.  I so badly wanted to see you in action, but given that I've had to settle with reading the recap, I must say that was a job well done! Congratulations on having your dream of being on the show come true and for walking away with that much in cash and prizes! Way to go! |

R3: Remember, if it gets back to you, you don't absolutely have to spin. I think I caught Pat off-guard because so few contestants do that. Mom said she was worried when I asked to solve so early, but then she remembered what round it was. I liked my Oahu/Wahoo! reaction. I did the same thing when I solved my R3 puzzle and Pat said to me during the commercial break "I could tell the moment it got back to you that you wouldn't be spinning again". Even my family and friends couldn't understand why I didn't try to get any money... until they saw what I won for solving the puzzle then they totally understood  LOL Congrats on your solid performance!!!! Enjoy your trip, and are you going to be keeping the car or selling it (do they give you that option??) |

Bobby, I finally watched your game yesterday from start to finish. Congrats on winning the main game and the BR! My mom had the same reaction. She wondered why I solved without spinning, and then remembered it was the prize puzzle. I'm keeping the car. Yep. Totally got it. The ONLY reason I spun at all in R3/PP was because I knew I'd be in a safe area for one spin only, and there was a triple L. My "mistake" was not continuing to spin in R2 with double L's and N's to reveal when I was in a super-safe spin area to to so, but at that point I was happy with 11k. |

So it finally happened. This is the first time this season where, counting singular and plural as the same, a puzzle was a direct repeat and not something with a word changed or added. "EGYPTIAN PHARAOH" was also a bonus puzzle in early Season 31. I believe I needed the picks back then, but I got Bobby's with RSTLNE because I remember the answer from before and thinking it was redundant. Aren't all pharaohs Egyptian? Want to know the crazy thing? The other episode with "EGYPTIAN PHARAOH" aired on GSN just three days before this episode.  At this rate, I can't wait for someone to win their BR and then admit that they remembered the puzzle all or in part from a previous episode. ✔ 10/27/04: EGYPTIAN TOMB ✔ 10/25/13: EGYPTIAN PHARAOH ✔ 12/08/17: EGYPTIAN PHARAOHS All wins! I thought I once saw a recollection of PHARAOH itself being used in the mid-90s, but I can't find it in any compendiums. Maybe it was a mock game or video game... |
