So, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the gimmick of Wipe Out week is to just offer the most expensive prizes that could only be claimed once during the entire week? So, it's like the WHEEL format, but you knew which envelope contained what item, and every prize was loaded? Anyways, onto the recap.
OAD: 2/8/1989, Theme: Wipe Out
Look at this studio, filled with glamourous merchandise! Fabulous and exciting bonus prizes, including: A great two-some: the glass-drawn Carlson speedboat and a Chevy Sportside pick-up truck! Be on top of the action with reserved seats at the world's greatest sporting events. And, for the special occasions, this dazzling pearl necklace! Plus, thousands of dollars in cash, just $130,000 left, just waiting to be won, as we continue... Yes, it's Wipe Out week on Wheel of Fortune! Now, here's your host, Pat Sajak!
