Toss-Ups: Sue is off to a quick start, taking two of two, though they weren't quick solves.
R1: Sue gets on a roll, but Bankrupts over $3,000 and the trip on the left side of the MDW. The U is bought when it shouldn't have (it was the ONLY dud vowel), and then another dud gets control back to Sue. She solves for $3,000 and the Wild Card, but she left one letter - a QUADRUPLE L! That's at least $1,200 down the drain, and perhaps more.
R2: Star & Role? What? WHAT??? It's been gone for so long (since May 20, 2011), and NOW it comes back? The hyphen makes it somewhat easily, at least - I had this within the first two calls. Sue gets control after a bad Mystery gamble by Cliff and a Bankrupt by Lauren, and this time at least she calls the quadruple L. Still, the use of S&R for the first time in almost two years makes me feel like the Wheel writers are trolling us.
R3: This time, E comes up as a dud, which is somewhat uncommon, but does happen. As it happens, it's the ONLY member of the Super Six that isn't in this puzzle. Sue does her best but Bankrupts away two pieces of cardboard, giving Cliff a chance to immediately solve and break up the sweep.
R4: Laura gets on the board too by getting the third toss-up, but there's no time for her to spin (there might've been enough for just one, but it didn't happen). Sue shuts the door though, adding $7,750 to near-double her total.
Bonus: I RSTLNE'd this with no trouble, and Sue CHIPs away at it for $30,000. Not a bad solve by her.
Overall: Good in some spots, not as good in others, 6/10 as usual.

Jeopardy! Round: Great job losing the trip wedge to Bankrupt. Boo, she got control back, but yay, she decided not to go for the four L's. Golden egg rolls sound very appetizing. Double Jeopardy!: Stupid Star & Role coming back after almost two years! You're not welcome! It's great when people get the Bankrupt Mystery Wedge. We don't ever want the $10,000. Triple Jeopardy!: All right! Another Bankrupt! Final Jeopardy!: Dumb Sue solved the puzzle! Boo! I was glad there was no April Fools jokes. I never wanted any festivities and such. Great on them to just moan about not doing anything and just showing the "Pat is bald?" clip yet again. This was not a very good show. Too much money was won for my tastes. Rating: 4/10(Difference from my legit, non-April Fools rating of 6/10)

It was almost like STAR & ROLE never left - extremely recent role I had to look up to know again. Why it disappeared for so long, I can only guess it was pure laziness.
Otherwise, that maingame was extremely generic. A semi-BS puzzle using QUART with a random object at least was won without problems.
EDIT: I'm on 5 hours sleep following a torturous lab and a big mid-term today, I didn't even notice those L's in R1 left. That's a particularly egregious left multiple although she did call the G's to end the round.

This was one of those low-scoring pitchers' duels that went into Sudden Victory midway in the Speed-Up Round.
I was hoping Sue would call a P as one of the BR consonants & she did, resulting in a win!

Aww, I missed people pieing each other? That sounds funny! But who's Pat? I know Vanna is the female host, she's my role model. This must be the place? What place? I was only like watching the show, I didn't move when it was on. This show is confusing me already. Wow, a trip had the chance of being won, that one looked really nice in relaxing, and a perfect excuse to go on a spree for swimsuit season. But wait, that mean bankrupt took the trip away, and made me cry that Sue won't ever be able to take that trip. In the next round, why did that wedge change from "? $1,000" to BANKRUPT? That seems mean. Retro Final Jeopardy, what is that? I know of short, like how my mother wears her hair, but circuit? I don't know, that sounds like something daddy told me not to touch when I was a little girl, so I wouldn't get hurt. Wow, a PRIZE puzzle. I was wondering the whole time what kind of prize would be given away the whole part: A trip? Clothes? A porcelain statue? A gift card? But wow, it's a trip, which is amazing, how cool! I'm so glad someone won a trip, they're the best! Do they do this only certain shows or all of them? They should do them all the time, people would love that! Designer Jeans, like OMGoshhh, best puzzle ever made, ever! Thanks for caring about someone like me, this will make me wanting to watch this show more, rather than my Sex and the City DVDs. Finding the right answer, though? What is the right answer? Why didn't they tell me what the right answer was? I'm still wondering. Did you all know that guy host was bald? Wow, I never knew that before, that was totally unexpected!! I get why Vanna didn't pull on his wig this time, though, it would have been embarrassing for Pat to have that happen a second time. This was an amazing show; wow. I especially loved the Designer Jeans puzzle and all the trips they offered. You made this watcher happy tonight!

Okay, where did Star & Role come from? It's been gone for nearly two years, and then...back. It doesn't feel right when the only thing someone wins is the Trip Puzzle. Congrats to Sue for pulling off solving a pretty hard bonus puzzle. No congrats to Pat and Vanna for not only coming across as grumbling about the lack of April Fool's pranks/jokes, but failing to pretend it's the airdate like they tell the contestants to do. Your best bonus puzzle choices for April 1, 2013:* Modern (2013): QFPA([any]) * Classic (1988): HC[any]I In the battle of CDMA versus BGHO (modern only), tonight's winner is CDMA with two letters versus BGHO's one and the "take a third option" FGHI's one. But who's Pat? I know Vanna is the female host, she's my role model. Pat Sajak, host of the show since December 1981. The "30th Anniversary" stuff on this episode is in regard to the nighttime version, which started in 1983. In the next round, why did that wedge change from "? $1,000" to BANKRUPT? That seems mean. That's a Mystery Wedge -- offers $1,000 per letter on the front side, but the player can risk their money by flipping over the wedge they're on. The reason it changed to Bankrupt the first time was to show the viewers what was on the other side, while the second time is because that's what's on the other side of that wedge (the other wedge has $10,000 on the other side, but if one is picked up then the other becomes a normal $1,000 space). Retro Final Jeopardy, what is that? It's supposed to be "Retro Bonus Puzzle", but there's some odd thing that's making certain words into certain other ones. Anyway, the Retro Bonus Puzzle is an old end-of-game puzzle from the show's past. I know of short, like how my mother wears her hair, but circuit? I don't know, that sounds like something daddy told me not to touch when I was a little girl, so I wouldn't get hurt. Here's a short, simple meaning of "short circuit".Wow, a PRIZE puzzle. The Prize Puzzle is every day. Most of the time, it's a trip. Finding the right answer, though? What is the right answer? Why didn't they tell me what the right answer was? I'm still wondering. The right answer was what was on the board: FINDING THE RIGHT ANSWER. Did you all know that guy host was bald? Wow, I never knew that before, that was totally unexpected!! I get why Vanna didn't pull on his wig this time, though, it would have been embarrassing for Pat to have that happen a second time. The clip was from 2008, and it was an April Fool's joke on Vanna and the viewers. Pat's not actually bald, nor does he wear any "fake hair" (generally called "hairpieces" or "toupees")...although it would've been funny for Vanna to pull on his hair tonight. This was an amazing show; wow. I especially loved the Designer Jeans puzzle and all the trips they offered. You made this watcher happy tonight! Glad to see you enjoyed the show, Jessica. Granted, the show's not like this every night, but it's good most of the time.

Well, I was surprised the BR was won. I was thinking it was something OF POINT (not that that made any sense, but whatever). Sue must have done a lot of painting in her life.

Toss-Ups: Sue's off to a good start. And Laura denied Sue the sweep to get off the schneid. Nothing to write home about here. Although, during the interviews, I'm surprised Cliff didn't get a round of applause for being a military vet.
R1: Lots of multiples here, but Sue takes a tough loss. On the other hand, she recovered nicely to pick up a few bucks and keep the cardboard.
R2: Nice to see Star and Role again, even though I was able to no-letter it (technically, the hyphen did help). Tough Mystery Bankrupt for Cliff, but Sue swoops in to protect her Wild Card and license plate...
R3: ...only to lose them here. Cliff was able to cut into Sue's lead and get a nice trip out of the deal, but something always irks me when the solver wins the round by doing no work and still picks up a prize.
R4: Full Speed Ahead! With a moderate spin of $1,550, it's anyone's game. I had a feeling that Laura was going to get it and deny Sue the victory, but Sue won the round hands-down and gets the all-cash win!
Bonus: I never would've had QUART or PAINT. I, too, thought that the last word was POINT. Apparently, Sue didn't have to mind her Ps and Qs, as she was able to solve immediately! She should've won more for that.
Overall: Decent show. Nothing fatal, but everyone played way too conservatively. 6.5/10.

I spent waaay too long trying to look for the april fool's gimmick on this show The QU- stumped me on the BR, plus it's more common to have gallons of paint I think.

R1: $3K is OK, but Sue could've had more had she called those L's and/or not lost that TX trip.
R2: Been a long time since that category was used.
R3: Well, so much for those prone cardboard pieces...
BR: I nailed it w/ the RSTLNE and good thing Sue didn't get tripped up by Harry's QU- trick.
Bonus Round: 7 out of 10
