Really not much to say except it didn't go well.
). All I can say is ouch...I have to say, with all the game show controversies recently, I do feel a bit iffy about this ruling. This is identical to the "AT MY WIT'S END" episode from the 80's and they gave it to that guy. Personally, I would have given it to Katey, too, but I understand their ruling. After highlighting the audio in Audacity, the pause (from after the "uh" of "the" to before the "w" of "way") was just about 0.75 seconds.
Though, honestly, if there is, at least this will have some merit, you have to admit. SWIMMIN' I could get the frustration in the pickiness, but the dropped G was obvious and people were blaming her accent, and the only reason CURIO went viral is because people didn't understand the rules of the MDW and thought it worked like its $10K predecessor. We all know there wouldn't have been mass reporting and sympathy for the guy if the MDW hadn't been picked up before that point (even when some of the MDW misinformation came from the same outlets that discussed an actual million dollar win last May!

I'm surprised it didn't cause much controversy as Paul's missolve, but I'm also surprised there was no real reaction!
