With just a couple of weeks left in 2013, let's look back upon the year that was. Obviously it was a big year (I think we all know what I'm talking about when I say I can think of at least one moment), but what were some of the biggest 'Wheel' stories of 2013?
Discuss. I'll chime in a bit later on. (And look for the appropriate thread in Mr. Irrelevant for non-WOF stories as well.)

Probably doesn't qualify as "the biggest", but these were definitely noteworthy (at least for me)... * February 20: The retro Bonus Round that proved they know about us* February 26: Unaired, but proof Pat doesn't like stupid stopdowns * February 27: The retro opening clip suggests that Wheel wasn't actually trying to establish Jim in Summer 2011 * April 29: Pat makes fun of Mayor Bloomberg's soda policy of New York City while in said city, to the delight of everybody * May 29: Pat and Vanna be :troll:in' -- generic puzzles? Nah, those were actually themed to the week! * June 11: FRIEDMAN SMASH!!! * August: Parts 4 and 5 of " 17 21 Questions with Pat & Vanna" answer Wheel questions sent by the BAV Twitter account And with that, so much 30 it hurts.

^To add to that bit...the retirement of Jackpot. Given how we practically all forgot about it until now, I don't think it's actually being missed too much.

1. The million-dollar win (5/30/13) 2. The CORNO CURRO CABINET missolve (9/17/13) 3. Mark Corwin's passing, RIP (7/25/13) 4. Two back-to-back shutouts in New York City (5/13-24/13) 5. Michael Gerace's big PP win (11/29/13) 6. Curt's amazing comeback, definitely (2/19/13) That's all I can think of.

In the general media... - The "I HAVE THE WINE" missolve - Autumn wins the million - Paul apparently gets screwed out of $1,002,350 by solving the puzzle right, but too fast for Pat's liking. Wheel is rigged! - The ill-timed THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS puzzle...Wheel is a live show, isn't it? Among the Wheel fandom... - The show's fifth remote in New York City, which gives us some fun contestants, but brutal Bonus Rounds - The start of the Buy a Vowel Boards Twitter account, which has gained us several new members and more interactions with past and future contestants and fellow Wheel fans, plus several interactions with the official WOF Twitter account and Pat Sajak - Mark Corwin's passing and Bob Cisneros taking his place - Pat returns to Twitter - The end of Jackpot and the start of Express (which we were the first to report ) - The generic Season 31 intro, a nod to the late-90s openings - The debut of a color-customizable Bonus Wheel
