Hey everyone. Bobby's had some difficulty with his charger delivery, so Mario and I will continue bringing the recaps until he can get that straightened out. That being said, here's your Monday recap, as we begin Hawaiian Adventure Week.

ROUND 1: BEFORE & AFTER
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
Shawn starts out just avoiding Lose a Turn, but he stops safely, getting two T's on $800. He spends money on E's (four) and A's (two) before getting an O without paying thanks to Free Play. His next spin is just beyond it to $650, whereupon three R's are found, then he buys the last vowel, the pair of I's. He returns to $650 for the H, but then on his third hit of that same $650, the S turns sour.
Sarah knocks out the two N's on $900, then the D on $600. But then she runs into the BANKRUPT on the right side of the Million-Dollar Wedge.
Colleen marks the M on $900, followed by the C on $500 next to the pink $900 (where a ½ Car tag would normally be)...
M I C R O _ A _ E
D I N N E R
T H E A T E R
...and she heats up her score by solving MICROWAVE DINNER THEATER for $1,400.
Duds: S (Shawn)
Bankrupt: Sarah ($2,400)
Retired Unclaimed: $3,450 (Shawn)
Shawn: $2,000
Sarah: $1,000
Colleen: $1,400
ROUND 2 (MYSTERY ROUND): THING
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Sarah picks up the night's first cardboard - the HYPR Hawaii gift tag - and $1,500 cash with the trio of T's. She buys a couple of E's and then recoups the loss very nicely with four R's on $900. Her next purchases are O's and I's (a pair of each), and then she lands on the Mystery wedge near Free Play - there are two N's, but she chooses not to risk $5,350 in cash and gift on what would have been the $10,000 cash prize. It ends up being a bit of a moot point regardless, as her next spin is the BANKRUPT near $3,500.
Colleen stops just shy on Bankrupt on $650, getting a couple of G's. She dials up a $900 D before buying the only U, then she too ends up in a BANKRUPT, this time near Free Play.
Shawn takes $500 for the sole S (the gift tag was already taken by Sarah). Then come two H's at $900 each...
S T R I _ I N G
U N D E R _ _ T E R
_ H O T O G R _ _ H _
...and while he won't win a trip on which to practice some STRIKING UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY, Shawn does ring up another $2,300 in cash.
Bankrupt: Sarah ($6,350 + Gift Tag), Colleen ($1,950)
Shawn: $4,300
Sarah: $1,000
Colleen: $1,400
ROUND 3 (PRIZE PUZZLE/EXPRESS ROUND): PHRASE
_ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _
_ _ _ _ / _ _ _
Colleen gets bitten by the wheel for the second time in a row, BANKRUPTing near Free Play.
Shawn takes the two T's on $700 to start his turn. He buys an E and an A before landing on $800 for a couple of R's. $600 comes around next, where the N is called, followed by the pair of I's being purchased. Then he spins up $900 and gets the G, using his proceeds to finish off the vowels, buying the O's (two) and U's (three). However, any leftover money is flushed, thanks to the BANKRUPT near $3,500.
Sarah won't risk a spin...
T _ I _ / _ _ O U _ _
_ R I G _ T E N / U _
_ O U R / _ A _
...instead she solves on the spot, saying THIS SHOULD BRIGHTEN UP YOUR DAY! That solve entitles her to a trip to Florida, with a stay at the Hilton Orlando and a $1,000 credit towards any Orlando-area attraction ticket package - it's a total value of $9,087!
Bankrupt: Colleen (loss of turn), Shawn ($3,250)
Shawn: $4,300
Sarah: $10,087
Colleen: $1,400
$3,000 TOSS-UP: LIVING THINGS
_ A R _ N _
_ _ _ _ A L S
Shawn salutes MARINE MAMMALS and jumps up to $7,300!
ROUND 4: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _

Time is tight tonight, so this will be a full speed-up round.
Final Spin: $700 -----> $1,700 per consonant
Shawn: T - 3
T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _
_ / T _ _ _ T _ _ _ _
Shawn wows the audience with his mental skill, identifying the physical skills needed when TRAINING FOR A TRIATHLON! That nets him $5,100 and the game!
MAINGAME TOTALS:
Shawn: $12,400
Sarah: $10,087
Colleen: $1,400
$100,000 BONUS ROUND:
Shawn has loads of moral support in the audience, especially his mother Lorelei, his step-father Wayne, his grandmother Reba, and his girlfriend Rachael. He spins the bonus wheel and lands on the N in WIN.
His bonus puzzle, like the Speed-Up, is WHAT ARE YOU DOING? The standard six, RSTLNE, give him...
_ _ _ _ N _ / _
_ E _ / _ _ L L S
Shawn gets help on the top line with his picks of P, H, G, and A...
P A _ _ N G / A
_ E _ / _ _ L L S
Shawn tries his hardest to solve the puzzle, and even comes up with a couple of guesses. However, PARKING A FEW HILLS and PAVING A FEW HILLS are not correct. As a result, he will NOT be PAYING A FEW BILLS with the $32,000 that was in the envelope.
Shawn's Final Total: $12,400 (all-cash)
