I know this question is kind of dumb, but...
Do you prefer the top dollar wedge to the left or right of BANKRUPT?
I like it better to the left of BANKRUPT...with it on the left it was more special if it kept going and cleared the BANKRUPT to hit the TDV.
Changed thread title to whole words to prevent confusion. I had no idea what the hell "TDV wedge" was until reading this thread.

I'm more used to it to the right of Bankrupt. The only time it was to the left was during Season 25.
Interesting question, though. "Keep going for good news" or "Stop stop STOP, no bad news!"

I've been thinking about that myself. Knowing that the top dollar value came before the worst penalty spot on some of the earliest layouts, including the layouts used in all three pilots, it would've been nice if players cleared the Bankrupt to get the biggie. To add to that, it's fun when a player gives the wheel a nice big whirl (so that the wedge colors can blur a little bit more giving your eyes some fun visual illusions), but having the top values before the penalty spots rather than after can certainly discourage that.
I know that on the Round 1 layouts on the Australian version, the top dollar value was right after Lose A Turn. This was also the case of the $450 space in Round 1 when it was the second biggest value in that round from 1975 to 1979 here in the States.
Although I've been used to the top value before Bankrupt for a while now, maybe I'm a little too used to it. I wish it were after Bankrupt like $3500 was a few times back in the previous decade.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I kinda miss when it wasn't in the immediate vicinity of a penalty wedge.
Of course, there are a lot of issues I have with the current wheel, but that's just me...

Personally, I'd rather have a few spaces (ninimum of three or four) between the TDV and Bankrupt, like they did in the old days.
