I'm also waiting for the taping dates for the new season to be announced. The website says to check back in mid-June (which is around this time), but no tapings are on the calendar.

It is known that Great American Cities: Washington DC week will tape on September 27 or 28.

Thanks, Mario. Is there a chance there will be tapings during the month of August?

I don't really anticipate any changes except for $36,000 in the bonus round, which is just stupid. They should just stop at $35,000 and let that be the minimum.

I’m hoping against all hope that does not happen. I agree, that’s ridiculous. When are they gonna stop raising the minimum?!

Season 36 tape dates of July 26&27 according to their site for tickets. Is it then every other week from these dates out?

When will you be able to post the season 36 weekly themes? Can’t wait for another fun year.

Change the wheel up every now an then too! If they’re gonna keep raising the minimum every season, they should introduce a 48-space bonus wheel with $1M somewhere, anywhere. also bring back the Jackpot wedge that functions the same way the MDW does.

^^^I agree. The thrill of the MDW has really worn off. They should just take the MDW off the wheel and make the bonus wheel 48 wedges, with 1 million envelope somewhere.
I'd also like to see round 1 have the jackpot again. A $500/JACKPOT/$500 oreo wedge would be nice.

The $10,000 wedge in the middle was actually more exciting than the MDW in my opinion.

Also, this thread should also identify any local affiliates who are moving or dropping the show. For instance, Baltimore's was on WMAR at 7:00 from the late '80s until around the early 2000s, when it moved to 7:30 PM, and then around 2012 IIRC it moved over to WBFF at the same time, which I've found somewhat advantageous since it seems like they are less likely to pre-empt, and there were a few shows where it was one of the few markets to air a certain show.
In terms of Jackpot returning, I'd place it in Round 3, and have it where the base value starts at $5,000 and increases by $1,000 for each day it isn't won (a homage to the daytime Jackpot) and I'd like to see Express move to Round 1, and even if there is now Jackpot, I'll be fine if all R3 has is the Prize Puzzle. Since so many contestants solve for the Prize Puzzle early, this could eventually force the Jackpot to rise up to increasingly tempting levels as a result. Of course, the wacky taping schedule causes this to be problematic with the "America's Game" weeks, but if that isn't possible, start the base Jackpot at $10,000 to account for inflation.
Until then, I'll be enjoying the last few weeks of J!'s Season 34, the new Double Dare on Nickelodeon, and ABC's summer Fun & Games.

They need to quit limiting the $5,000 space to speed-up only by the way!
