The August 10 tapings also used the log cabin set. Though there were no pictures or posts revealing the theme, I'm willing to bet it's Great Outdoors given the set, plus this partial puzzle posted on Instagram by an audience member. The category is Rhyme Time, and yes, it's one of those puzzles... |

I suspect at least one trip to Hawaii will be on offer in WOF's early weeks of season 36 syndie. With the likelihood that Hurricane Lane will effect a large part of Hawaii this week, I wonder if WOF will change around some of the weeks to later in the season if a trip to Hawaii is on offer.

^ They usually have at least two per week thanks to how limited the trip pool is now. I imagine they'll do what they did last season and add a caption explaining that the episode was taped prior to the disaster.

TPIR and LMAD will switch the shows to later in the season if such a trip is offered. If its the season premiere or a show of season premiere week, particularly with TPIR, don't know if they'd change the season premiere airdate since mention is made its the first show of the season.

Aside from the letter being called showing up on the left, it's a shame that:
1) the title card is the same as Season 35, albeit with the "35th Anniversary" byline removed (hopefully the intros on-air will be whatever themed week)
2) they're still using the same category strips from Season 26

^ It's the studio intro. It's identical to S34.
However, I did notice a picture from the set that showed the WOF logo on the middle screen (like S35) and the theme week graphic on the screen behind the contestants. If the actual opening will be like this, that would be a welcome change.

This'll be the first season since 24 that I've not watched with my mom. She passed away on the 8th of this month from lymphoma after battling it since November 2017.

We have been given the full taping schedule for Season 36, courtesy of the same source that gave it to us last season, which proved to be 100% accurate in the end.
Unfortunately, we're back to an all-Culver-City season. The tape dates are very straightforward with very little deviation from the two-week Thursday/Friday pattern. The remaining tape dates for this season are:
September 13-14 September 26-27 (Wed-Thu) October 11-12 October 25-26 November 8-9 November 29-30 December 13-14
January 17-18 Jan. 31-Feb. 1 February 14-15 Feb. 28-Mar. 1 March 14-15 March 28-29 April 11-12 |
