Seeing the discussion of the weekend feed (and the occasional oddities associated with it) reminded me of something... I remember, when I used to watch Wheel and Jeopardy! growing up, that they were on separate stations where I was (WLBZ had Wheel, WVII had Jeopardy!), and this lasted until (I believe) 1994 or 1995, when Wheel moved to WVII (and I believe is still there now, though I'm not sure, since I haven't lived there in over 11 years now). Any other instances where the two shows are split up on two different stations in the same market?

Since 2015 after many years on KHOU, Jeopardy has been on KTRK in my hometown of Houston, while Wheel remains on KHOU where it has been for 30+ years.

In NYC, Jeopardy! was originally "graveyarded" at 1:30 AM on WNBC (2 AM on Fridays due to Friday Night Videos), with WCBS airing Wheel at 7:30 (of course, the first half-season of Wheel didn't air in the Big Apple). J! moved over to WABC for Season 2 at a better 4 PM timeslot, with Wheel still on WCBS. About midway though Season 3, WABC moved Jeopardy! to 7 PM. In September 1990, Wheel moved over to WABC, where the "J! first, Wheel second" pattern in the lead-in hour in NYC has held ever since.
In Washington DC, Wheel was originally on WDVM (later WUSA), which was similar to New York in that it aired on that market's CBS affiliate at 7:30. It was still there when Jeopardy! premiered in 1984, where it was shown on WRC at 4 PM at the time, and the early years of Jeopardy!, late afternoon (and even midday) timeslots were more common. For season 2 of J! (1985-86), the show in the DC market moved to WJLA, where it still resides today, at 5, with Wheel still on WDVM (soon to be WUSA). J! moved to 7 PM on Channel 7 for Season 3. Since the beginning of Wheel Season 8/J! Season 7 in 1990, both have aired on WJLA starting at 7, with Wheel first. Of course, we could start another thread about daytime and nighttime wheel on separate stations, since WRC was/is DC's NBC station.
