I assumed that the 2001 Jeopardy Road Show theme was composed by the late Steve Kaplan and was used until 2006 when Jeopardy used the regular 2001 main theme composed and arranged by the late Steve Kaplan was used until 2008 The 2001 Jeopardy! main theme is basically an updated version of the 1997 theme, just with different introductions, an added middle section with developments (accompanied by saxophone and electric guitar) before the reprise of the melody, and played at a faster tempo. The version that was used for most road shows had a longer intro, similar to the 1997 theme; and the regular version had a much shorter intro. But both versions used the same 5-note motif in the 1997 version that led into the main melodies. There was also a vamp of theme in which there is no guitar and saxophone playing. The 1997 theme and both versions of the 2001 theme were indeed arrangements by Steve Kaplan, as was the 1997 Think! cue, which was retained for the FJ! round.
