Another one, then there is one more that I know of online. At this point, we are past the 2/3 mark for Wheel 2000!
Here are today's contestants!
Erin is in the 7th grade. She wants to be a professional singer. She enjoys soccer and cheerleading.
Caleb is in the 7th grade. He likes playing with his two-year old brother Chad, and likes watching professional wrestling with his thirteen-year old brother Charles.
Nikki is in the 7th grade. She likes playing basketball and making websites on the internet.
Today's physical game is Match It, and they also have the www.wheel2000.com wedge. However, beware of the LOSER, and especially THE CREATURE!
Erin gets first dibs for picking a category, and he picks from: Every Body, Lab Test, and V.I.P.'s.
Round 1: Lab Test

Erin hits the Challenge right away!
Match It is played with four colored helmets and three aliens, with an attempt to get all three right. Think like The Price is Right's Race Game, just with four helmets instead of price tags and three prizes instead of four. She gets one minute on the clock, and we are shown that the correct combination is Purple, Yellow, and Green.
Attempt 1| Yellow Green Red| Gets 0 right| :47 left.
Attempt 2| Green Purple Red| Gets 0 right| :35 left.
Attempt 3| Red Green Purple| Gets 0 right| :22 left.
Attempt 4| Green Red Purple| Gets 0 right| :17 left. (That's rough. The correct move was to shift the helmets to the right one more time, which would have guarenteed two right ones. Then, I would probably just not try a 1/3 chance.)
Attempt 5| Red Green Yellow| Gets 0 right| :02 left.
BUZZ!
Since she couldn't get a single one right, possesion goes to Caleb, who duds with an N on 250.
Nikki gets 500 AND DOUBLE UP! Answering this question right will make the next letter call worth 1,000 a piece!
Question: Some boats carry a certain type of instrument for detecting and locating objects underwater. Is it...
a) microwave,
b) SONAR, or
c) Pulsar.
Nikki guesses b, which is correct! Unfortunately, she duds with the S.
Erin gets 650 from an R, 250 from a T, but duds with an F on 350. (900 at risk)
_ _ _ _ _ R _ T _
Caleb gets 250 from a P, but duds with a G on 300.
_ _ _ P _ R _ T _
Nikki duds with an H on 400.
Erin buys 2 E's, but has to take the L on LOSER. (650 at risk)
E _ _ P _ R _ T E
Caleb hits the big 1000! Fortunately, he claims the opportunity wiht a V!
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
E V _ P _ R _ T E
Caleb is going to EVAPORATE his opponent's points! As Brandon Hammond from The Gregory Hines Show explains (which I had to Google up if he did anything notable, and appearently he was young Michael Jordan in Space Jam), Caleb takes 1,250 points and a Color TV with remote control!
Round 1 Totals:
Erin: 0
Caleb: 1,250 + Color TV.
Nikki: 0
Round 1 Events:
Erin: Failed Match It, dud F, LOSER hit, 650 unclaimed.
Caleb: Dud N, G
Nikki: Dud S, H
Caleb dominated the last round, and now it's his turn to pick: Every Body, Word Rap, and V.I.P.'s.
Round 2: Word Rap
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Caleb duds with an L on 650.
Nikki gets 250 from an S, and then hits the 500 AND DOUBLE UP (Note: Sound effect didn't play last round when the Double Up was hit.)
Question: Which of the following is not an example of a conjunction?
a) and,
b) but,
c) upon.
Nikki guesses upon, which is correct! She claims the 1,000 points with a T! She then spins... but THE CREATURE is hungry!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
S _ _ T _ _ _ _
Erin duds with an R on 600.
Caleb gets 1,350 from 3 N's on 450, but has his points eaten by THE CREATURE as well!
_ _ _ _ _ _ N _
S _ N T _ N _ _
Looks like we are heading into a commercial midgame!
Coming back from the break, Nikki takes the wheel, and duds with a G on 650.
Erin gets 700 from 2 C's on 350.
Choo-Choo!
Looks like time is running out! Time for the final spin. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth 500, which means Erin needs a multiple consonant to win the game, and Nikki needs a trio.
C _ _ _ _ _ N _
S _ N T _ N C _
Erin: 3 E's
Caleb: (After trying to spin the wheel) 1 P.
C _ _ P _ _ N _

Caleb could probably have many a COMPOUND SENTENCE to explain his feelings about being on Wheel 2000, as he picks up another 500 points.
