What's your absolute favorite season of Wheel?
The season I first remember watching was 10 so it holds a special place with me, especially with the dancing wedges opening. I wish I had this complete season on video.
As far as actually watching religiously, that was season 24.

Season 10 was the season I started watching the show, too! I think my favorite is season 13 (1995-1996).

I’d have to say seasons 30 and 32.

Season 30 is one of my favorites because it featured my favorite gimmick for the very last time and the other would be 33 since yours truly got to play in the greatest American city themed set of all.

Regular Network Watch: 14/15, the early electronic days were cooler and the jackpot was still new and the only specialized round at that point making it all the more exciting especially to someone who was 3 at the time and actively payed equal attention to bright colors and gameplay- that offered a good advantage in later years. GSN Rerun Watch: 12...I really like that spiky border and the matching firework W backdrops, also it introduced that 10K prize, had a nice golden look and was nearly impossible to get like the $1M today.

Season 7. I've seen it both first-run as a preschooler and on GSN in the early '00s, and it still holds up of why the magic of what the show was will never be recaptured like it did for me. You had the first major set change since 1981, the new smooth jazz theme which remains my all-time favorite theme, the beginning of the returning champions, prize wedges and tokens that could be picked up without calling a letter, and just the feel that everyone was having a good time, from Pat to the contestants to the studio audience, even with the cheesy audience machine sound effects when the first letter wasn't in a puzzle. Plus, the only fee plugs were in-show and right before the credits and there was 22 minutes of show instead of about 18 today. The randomness of the W-H-E-E-L envelopes also made it more interesting during the bonus round.

Season 13. It was about as "Wheel of Fortune" as "Wheel of Fortune" could get. It was the perfect midpoint of the improvements the show had in the 90's but right before many other changes would happen such as the removal of champions. Everything just felt so "right" that season and uniform. No theme weeks most of the time, no cliched puzzles as a result; the puzzles could literally be anything without relying on repeating more than half the episode's puzzles from three years ago, no limiting themselves with rules like "no Before & After or three-row puzzles after Round 3", a snazzy set with those funky backdrops and my favorite puzzle board border design, the game was fair with the stakes increasing and extra wedges being added as the game progressed rather than being removed, a wonderful intro sequence, and a very engaged audience without those obnoxious "AWWWW"s after every single wrong letter and that whistling loop during every throw to commercial. Plus, the $1000 finally gained its sparkly green color to match the other top value wedges, and there was the underrated Double Play.
I just wish I was old enough to appreciate this season when it was on in syndication or on GSN.

For me it’s season 18. It was really exciting to see the top dollar value placement change, but the thing I particularly like most is the sound of the wheel from that season, as the pegs were made taller and the wheel made a deeper sound.

My favorite seasons are 17, 25 and 30 because those three seasons were taped in NYC. I am leaning more towards Season 17 on a few reasons. One was it was my first time watching Wheel and the other is because of the 1997-2000 theme music used that season and unfortunately Season 17 was the last season to use Changing Keys. The 1997-2000 theme music was also my favorite Wheel of Fortune theme music because of the jazzy and big band music and was very catchy. Season 25 and 30 are tied as my second favorite because I went to see the show in NYC in those two seasons.
