Hi, everyone. This is acwof. I hope everyone has been having a wonderful summer, so far.
Season 36 is quickly approaching, as it will premiere on September 10th of this year.
While I have enjoyed being the recap guide, and liked the way I composed the recaps for Season 35 (and I hope everyone else did, too), I felt as if the recaps were too "bland", so for this season, I want to make recaps that are more "attention grabbing" and "engaging".
Since the new season will soon be upon us, I have made this thread for you all to give me ideas as to how I can make my recaps more attention grabbing and engaging.
For example, what are some ideas for a puzzleboard? Ideas for the commentary? Maybe even some GIF's for certain moments, such as a $100,000/$1 Million win?
If it helps, I have an idea for a GIF whenever we end with a "skunked" week. ("Skunked" means the Bonus Round was not won all week.)
When you give me ideas, make sure that the ideas follow the rules and guidelines on this site, and is something simple and easy for me to compose. I WILL take all ideas into consideration.
Thank you in advance for your ideas! I look forward to hearing ideas from you all.

Feel free to have a look at one of the few recaps that I wrote: buyavowel.boards.net/thread/4968/february-14-2013-recap-placeholder
Now, this style is very different from the style that you, TLC, and Bobby have done, so I don't want you to copy this to a T, but perhaps it might be useful to include the episode's number and tape date. I wouldn't bother handling gameplay the way I did with the tables and such; the way the rest of you do it is just fine and easier.
If you like, I can send you a template for the mini puzzle board that I used, although it does take some time to edit; you need to know which squares need to have their hex codes changed to "white" for one. If I ever get the time, maybe I'll make a program that does most of the work (I already have a program that does this with a full-size board; Tris uses it for DPG).
Not sure if any graphics for 0/5 or 5/5 weeks are necessary, but if anybody has any good ideas, I'd be willing to make them. I do think this place could use some more show-themed emojis.

MarioGS, that would be fine with me if you would like to send me the template. I'm going to need some time to work around with it, anyway, and maybe even do a test run on an episode or two with the template before the season starts. However, since we have two weeks before Season 36 starts, that should give me plenty of time to work with the template. So, yes, you may send me the template, if you wish. I would appreciate it. - acwof
