Labor Day for many years was the launch of a new season for Wheel, and although by 2007 it had reverted to the week after, I'd still like to share with you the first three episodes of Wheel's silver season, featuring the randomizing wedge and the $2500 surprise wedge.

All recorded off WBIR in Knoxville, which, unless the device used to capture this wasn't capable at the time, was not yet airing Wheel in HD.
9/11: Richard was going way too fast, calling letters before the Wheel stopped and not even waiting for Vanna to light up the current letter before spinning again or buying a vowel. Pat had to slow his roll multiple times. Also, this episode seems to confirm that by the 2000's, the house minimum did not apply on trivia bonus puzzles if the bonus was earned, unlike in the 90's where they'd be bumped to the minimum before being prompted for the bonus answer.
9/12: The Wild Card briefly disappeared on the first spin of R3.

This was a great season; for the show and in my personal life, as well. One of my favorite years.
