I know we can't have our cell phones with us during the taping day but are we allowed to bring a digital or disposable camera to take pictures throughout the day or is the studio and other places we will be a camera free zone?

That's a big no no. They won't let you bring any photo/video equipment. You can take a quick selfie outside the studio before and after the taping. But nothing inside.
