So, we should hit Wheel 7000 this season! Any thoughts on whether it will be a Themed Week? 7000 wedge?

I figured the show was on pace to hit 7000 this season. It should happen within weeks of the season drawing to a close. For the poll, I chose having a $7000 wedge, but what I would like the show to do would be to make another retrospective special like they did for the 3000th and 4000th episodes back in November 1998 and November 2003 respectively. I loved those retrospective shows, especially the 3000th one as that introduced me to a wealth of info about the show that I never knew before. An illustration that I have ready for submission on November 20th (the 20th anniversary of the 3000th special) will tell the story of that. Besides, 3000 plus 4000 is 7000!

Yeah, it's this season. 36 seasons x 195 shows a season = 7,020 shows once the season is through. Meaning that show #7,000, if they do it at its proper point in the season, should be the Friday show of Week 35. Should be sometime in the middle of May, if my figuring is right... though, knowing them, they'll probably jump the gun to fit it in during a sweeps week (wouldn't be the first time they've screwed around with the schedule that way, and likely won't be the last time either).

The middle of May is in the middle of a sweeps period.

I think the $7000 wedge would work out fine. Cash or Prize wedge.

The only problem with the $7000 wedge is they’d automatically start R4 in speed-up EVERY time. It’d get no actual game play.

I think there should be retrospective for the 7,000th episode. If they do a retrospective it should be in the road like New York or Las Vegas. Unfortunately a remote is unlikely going to happen because there are no planned remote this season. I know the 7,000th show will be in May. According to my calculation the 7,000th show will be on May 10, 2019.
