Keri Rodriguez has posted a partial Fall 1987 daytime WOF episode. There's no opening, bonus round, or end credits. Airdate is gleaned as Jack Clark is still announcing, the Jackpot space is on the round three wheel, a Days of our Lives promo in the commercials indicates Autumn, and CHicken LIttles sandwiches from KFC is among the original commercials, and they are a fee plug on the August 1987 episodes of Classic COncentration Buzzr has recently rerun.

Ray/Keri/Mary (Day 2 - $5,550). Jackpot: $5,000 Pat notes that Mary won "yesterday", including a diamond in the Bonus Round. I think someone needs to re-edit this video - it shows three clips during the first 1:25, cuts to a blank screen until the 3:35 mark, then cuts back to Mary's interview and continues on as normal (minus the first and third clips that were at the start of the video). Wow, putting money On Account. Pretty sure that was a rare event by this point. ...What the crap was that Diet 7-Up advert at 9:52? The girl entices the guy to order one by describing the drink like it was drugs or booze, only to tell him "Sorry, all out!" What kind of message does that send? Back to the show, I'm pretty sure mid-round breaks (during Round 2, in this case) were also pretty rare by this point. The mid-show bumper logo is gray with white borders. Weird. Wow, the artwork used for the Jackpot cutaway graphic is actually pretty nice. Puzzles: Phrase: AND WHOSE LITTLE GIRL ARE YOU Fictional Character: FAIRY GODMOTHER Phrase: VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE (goes to Speed-Up) [Bonus Round missing] As for gameplay... Ray sweeps the game for $5,400 and will return on the next(?) show, where the Jackpot will be $6,000. Mary leaves with the $5,550 she won yesterday (having lost the Jackpot to Bankrupt), and Keri - the person who uploaded this - leaves with parting gifts, having only gotten one turn the entire game...and it was Lose A Turn.

There were commercial breaks in daytime in the middle of a puzzle, at least from time to time, through the Rolf era. Any episode with a long first round would see a commercial break occur in the middle of round two it seemed like. WOF still had five commercial breaks through the Rolf era(four one minute breaks and one two minute breaks), a decade after Card SHarks and Password Plus premiered and took four commercial breaks(two one minute breaks, two two minute breaks). The early Woolery WOF's I believe took six one minute commercial breaks, no?
