According to Gameshownewsnet, there could be a Press Your Luck for this year. It is unknown who will air it, but it’s likely ABC although CBS was its original broadcaster. Here’s what I think might happen:
1. HD style board 2. Todd Newton hosting (he did a decent job with Whammy!) 3. The board should be super-random so that no one can follow in Larson’s footsteps 4. New whammies 5. New prizes, maybe a luxury car
That’s all I have. What do you think might happen?

It's confirmed that it's on ABC, and if Todd returns to host I will eat my hat.
They are probably trying to figure out if Steve Harvey has any time left in his schedule as we speak.

The board should be super-random so that no one can follow in Larson’s footsteps You're technically thinking the difference between pseudorandom and truly random. Larson's board was a fairly easily exploitable pseudorandom (hey, it at least gave the illusion of being random until he figured it out). On Todd Newton's version, they had a much better PRNG if the computer didn't have access to a true RNG—the former is pretty ubiquitous in most of today's programming languages. Now, nitpicking aside, if The $100,000 Pyramid and Match Game are any indication (Family Feud was already pretty much like this since the O'Hurley era), I expect the overall look and feel of the show to be more classic while taking advantage of updates in technology since the show began, so monitors like in Whammy! are pretty much a given. I think it'd be interesting to see what they do, if anything, with the displays the contestants saw that the audience usually couldn't see unless coming out of commercial. That said, everything except Newton hosting (I like him, but I have absolutely no idea how much time traveling around and hosting TPIR Live takes up in his schedule—I wouldn't imagine much) and the possibility of a luxury car I'd say are a reasonably sure thing.
