I have a question about the original Free Spin. I know that when the player landed on the wedge they were given a free spin and they got one every time they landed on the wedge no matter how many times they hit it. My question is, when they landed on that wedge, did they have to spin the wheel again even though they may have had money to buy a vowel or could solve the puzzle or could they do whatever they wanted?

If the contestant landed on and received a "Free Spin", he/she had the opportunity to spin again, buy a vowel (if he/she has enough money), or solve.

You are NOT given that option, however, in the NES games. You must spin again there.
