Quick question I feel I should know... if Pat lands on Bankrupt, he just spins again, right?
Has anyone ever seen him do it?
Also, do you think Pat sometimes guns for the $5,000 wedge knowing it would make the game more interesting? Or does he just let ‘er rip?

1) Yes, he does. Same for if he lands on Lose a Turn or Free Play, or Prize Wedges back when they were still on the Wheel in Round 4+. To date, I've never been fortunate enough to witness an invalid Final Spin at a taping. I remember being at a taping in 2013 and the Final Spin just barely clicked off the Bankrupt next to $5000 and I was disappointed.
2) He definitely aims for it when he can, especially if the Final Spin bell goes off in the middle of Round 4 or later, meaning the Wheel is out of its usual starting position that usually puts $5000 out of reach for Pat since he can't get the Wheel all the way around anymore.

I remember your episode, as it aired a few weeks after mine, but I don’t recall your spins.
Were you able to get it all the way around?
I was only able to get it about 80 to 85% around. It was a LOT heavier than I thought it would be.

Nope. Nobody on my episode did. My strongest spin was 20 wedges, or 5/6 of a rotation.

I've never spun the wheel so I believe it's heavy, but it wouldn't shock me if Pat needed the green light to go for it based on the current state of the budget. |
