Sadly, we will not be throwing a GLITZY AFFAIR for Danielle...
...because she loses out on $100,000.
Well, since the Bonus Round was not won at all this week, we have been SKUNKED for a third time this season. It's been a while since we've faced the wrath of Mr. Skunk, and sadly, this was on a week that did pretty well, last season. The two $100,000 losses didn't help, either, it just made things worse.
Thanks to those two back to back $100,000 losses, this week just ended up going south. Our Delicious Destinations contestants only took home $197,750 in cash and prizes, this week. I'm not sure if we had any real "highlights" this week except for the $5,000 final spin on Friday's game, which resulted in a hefty amount for the second place contestant. In fact, our second place finishers this week did pretty well, as some walked away with over $10K.
Next week will be our fourth of five America's Game weeks, so once again, we will revisit some sets from weeks past (and maybe some from weeks to come). I believe we will have another team episode next week, as well. If we revisit this set, next week, let's hope it's a good one to make up for how this week went.
In the meantime, even though it's been a while since we've been skunked, you all know the drill; into the tomato bath we go. Get comfortable, as we're here until Monday.
Note: Once again, huge thanks to GameShow75 for his contributions.
