Since the Bonus Round was not won at all this week, this means we've unfortunately been skunked.
This marks the FOURTH time this season we've been skunked.
To make matters worse, Island Hopping has now become our LOWEST scoring week of the season, with only $165,174 being given away, this week. Gone Fishing Week, our second week of the season, previously held this record, and for a whopping THIRTY-ONE weeks.
Despite the skunking and new lowest winnings record, we still had some nice highlights, this week. One of our members was a contestant, and even won the 1/2 Car. We also saw a $10,000 Mystery Wedge win, which we also haven't seen in a while. Sadly, these were our only great moments, this week. I think we pretty much had a "deja vu" feeling, this week, considering what happened in Season 30's Island Hopping Week.
But don't fret over the skunking, Wheel Watchers. Next week is Big Money Week! Now, I know what you're thinking; Big Money Week is not that big of a deal. Well, think again, because exactly one week from now, we will be celebrating Wheel of Fortune's 7,000th episode on Big Money Week! This is such a HUGE accomplishment for Wheel of Fortune, and we need to hope it's a good one, especially with what happened on their 5,000th and 6,000th episodes.
