If I had the rights to make a home game version, here's what I'd do: - First and foremost, customizable puzzles like the board games produced early in the Chuck Woolery era. If you run out of puzzles or don't like any of them, the game retains replay value. (Personally, I'd do a different way of revealing the letters—the letter cards are fine but I'd rather they be loaded in flip panels. I imagine the puzzle board would require pretty strong plastic for my idea to work very well, but small price to pay.)
- As with the most recent home game of the Italian version, FINALLY a four-row puzzle board (12-14-14-12 instead of 10-10-10 or 11-11-11)
- Changing top dollar value at least, accomplished like the 1980's Deluxe Editions. Mystery Wedges are relatively easy to do as well and a Jackpot wedge requires little more effort to implement. (Implementing the Million Dollar Wedge requires figuring out an easy way to do the Bonus Round wheel. Perhaps a snap-on to the main wheel, but I think at this point we have a lot of parts to mess around with already.)
- The paper money would be in denominations of $50, $100, $500, $1,000, and $5,000. (Has there been a released version that uses a $5,000 bill?)
What do you guys think?

Instead of paper money, how about scoring consoles like the Electric Jeopardy! board game from the late '80s. Only this time, include slides for the tens and ones digits.

How would you keep track of a "round score" and a "total score"?

Paper and pen(cil). Or two 6-digit consoles, stacked one on top of the other.. On the leftmost slide, instead of a 0, it should have a $.

These Ideas are great but i think we can have interchangeable puzzle boarders if you prefer the old 97 boarder or the current border the wheel cardboard spinners can have 4 (2 neon ones 2 gold ones{based on 97-03}) of those and the deluxe version will have two spinning wheels with snap on bonus round pieces or the old wheel podium (this is also in reg version but matches 97 boarder however it will be the only electronic podium in the set).

You have to keep in mind the reality of the board game market, pricemodel1997—the puzzle borders are a nice aesthetic addition but you don't want to clutter the box with too many unnecessary things. That's why there's no mention of non-cash prizes or the Wild Card and I wondered if including a bonus round was convenient.

Well we were just shouting out ideas, anyways a wild card could work, just place it over the blue 300 with multiple cards (replacing free spin), anyways we could simplify things to this a four row flip board with the correct present day boarder instead of the monitor border they have, then have the current wheel with current bonus wheel as a snap on (works for r1-3 as well) with little slits to hold the envelopes to the cardboard spinner (reg version) money will be in 50s 100s 500s 1000s 5000s and 10,000s for paper money(it will be easier to get to the larger cash prizes with the 10,000 bills) and a puzzle solution booklet w/ what space letters are in. The bonus envelopes will be 12 de facto prizes and 12 blank, there will be a flip use letter board that has 26 normal letters on one side with slashed ones on the other, a marker will be available for the blank bonus envelopes
Deluxe version 1 plastic wheel with interchangeable wedges (bankrupt, top $'s jackpot mystery and prizes) 1 snap on bonus wheel with envelope slits 24 bonus envelopes (12 have de facto prizes but 12 are blank for host's offers of prizes) 1 puzzle solution booklet so the host doesn't have to bother memorizing 4+ puzzles w/ letter locations multiple wild card tokens, this will replace the free spin disc on the games as free play will be serving as a free spin as an option on both versions, flip used letters board available in deluxe as well. Scoring in both versions will consist of mini contestant podiums Two rows of 7 digits in that podiums opposite color (green=red, violet=yellow, orange=blue) bottom is total, top is round. This might be a bit more economical
