Starting Monday, July 1, Wheel of Fortune will be moving stations in the Delmarva market, which serves Salisbury, Maryland and parts of Delaware.
The Wheel/Jeopardy! block and an hour of reruns of The Big Bang Theory will be swapping affiliates. The two game shows will be moving to NBC affiliate WDRE 31 at their same time slots (Wheel at 7:00PM ET, J! at 7:30), while BBT's block moves to sister station and Wheel's former home, FOX affiliate WBOC-DT2 21. This is one of only 11 (soon to be 10) FOX stations that carries Wheel from at least Mon-Fri on a regular basis (one FOX station, WLUC in Michigan, airs Wheel only on Mondays; it airs on NBC from Tue-Sat).
Moving from FOX to NBC should be beneficial for both shows. Aside from moving to a bigger overall network, both shows were subject to constant sports-related pre-emptions on FOX (with J! affected every Thursday during football season), and FOX 21 would never do make-good airings of either show.
The last episode of Wheel to air on FOX 21 will be show S-6920RR, a repeat of the show that aired January 18, 2019. The Saturday rerun scheduled for June 29 (S-6649RR, aired October 5, 2017) is pre-empted on all FOX affiliates by MLB Baseball and, as stated earlier, is not getting a make-good. Presumably, WDRE will also carry the Saturday reruns of both shows, although neither is airing on July 6 because of NBC airing NASCAR starting at 7:00.
Jeopardy!'s run on FOX 21 will end with the finale of the Teen Tournament. While listings appear to show that Jeopardy! also airs in first-run on the market's CBS affiliate WBOC (also under same ownership as WDRE and FOX 21) at 4:30 PM, this is actually Daytime Jeopardy! (AKA "Jeopardy! II"), and it will continue to air as normal after first-run J! moves to NBC.
