AT&T-owned TV providers DirecTV and Uverse have been forced to black out all stations owned by Nexstar Media Group due to a contract dispute. The blackout began at 11:59 PM the night of July 3. As of July 18, the conflict with Nexstar still has not been resolved. There is currently another contract dispute in danger of blacking out even more stations on DirecTV and Uverse. This time, it involves CBS. Four of the affected affiliates carry Wheel: WBZ Boston, KTVT Dallas, WTSP Tampa, and WCCO Minneapolis. All but WTSP are O&O's. Correction: WTSP Tampa was not affected; it was the market's CW affiliate WTOG that was dark since that station is owned by CBS, but WTSP is owned by Tegna. The CBS O&O blackout on DirecTV and Uverse has finally come to an end.
