Not Phone Wheel of Fortune from earlier in '91, though Bob Goen and the daytime set are also present here - this is a slightly different version of the game that I didn't know of until Michael Pannoni posted this (skip to 30:07 if it doesn't play from there automatically): The biggest difference is that this was a seven-puzzle instant-win game with a prize of $100, whereas the earlier version was a "whoever solves five puzzles the quickest each day gets $500" contest. This version also put each call into a sweepstakes drawing (held 1/31/92) for an all-expense-paid trip to Merv's Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas. Further, the coupon/discount booklet given for each call was worth just $10 here whereas the earlier game's booklet was worth $500. That makes a minimum of four play-by-phone games that were associated with daytime Wheel during its final year. Interestingly, these two seem to have partially overlapped with the two contests used on-air (Cashpot and Summer Vacation Bonanza, respectively).

Damn, daytime Wheel must have been in the toilet ratings-wise if they were going to that much trouble...
