Airdates confirmed to be 9/14-9/16/1993, as the website of contestant on the first episode John Ducey, now an actor, confirms his episode aired on 9/14 and taped on 8/11. Airdates pushed back one day on the West Coast on the ABC stations because of Monday Night football.

Whether I troll or not, Sony is tough on taking down game show episodes that we and they know damn well will never rerun anywhere else. The only 20th century Sony show that may ever be seen again is 80s Pyramid. Even the 70s Newlywed Game hasn't been seen in a decade, for the staple that was on GSN for its first 15 or so years. Fremantle lets thousands of episodes of TPIR, Match Game, Feud, Card Sharks and others on Youtube with no problems(though they did do a swipe of $ale episodes, in particular Al Mcdonal's ten day daytime run from Sep 1986) in 2013 when GSN first reran it)

Admittedly, there's no way in hell that the game show community is going to forgive me or forget about cyberial cigars, even if the last person to get one was shortly before that thread came up almost four years ago. And even in 2030, if I never offer another CC again(the Metoo movement got hot in the years since 2015, which means trouble outside the Internet is more likely, and at least one, and most likely two, outside the Internet consquences did happen in 2017 because of what happened in 2007- 2015), the game show community still isn't going to forgive or forget. But, some of my fellow trolls have made an occasional reference to them on ATGS, but I can't tell people not to troll when I've done it myself, and at least two people who weren't trolls back in the day have now made some troll posts. |
