This method also works with locast.org, which is FREE! This will be very useful if, say, you live in a market where Wheel airs on CBS and you're pre-empted by March Madness, or on ABC by Christmas NBA.

Locast supports local affiliates of all major networks in 13 markets. Here are all the stations that carry Wheel and Eastern times that it airs.

Locast is also available as a free app, but it will only work if the device is within one of the supported markets.

While you can't exactly "watch" the show per se, at least not without a lot of tapping in between, there is another way to at least check back on the show after it airs, and it appears to be legal. I've been using it for well over a year.

It's called Clippit. It's a free mobile app that let's you create and share clips of TV shows and sporting events just after they air on TV. You select a network, and scroll backward through the current program. You can also go back to the previous program as long as it ended no more than one hour ago, meaning here in NYC, Wheel "expires" at 9:00 PM.

You can choose any part of the broadcast to clip, including commercials, and it chooses a ~60 second segment around the chosen point that you can play back and clip up to 30 seconds at a time. Any clips you post to your profile will remain forever, even after the show's "playback" expires. My profile is RAS310 for anyone who wants to follow me.

This is very useful if, for example, you're out to eat when Wheel's on and you want to see what happened in the Bonus Round, but forgot to get out your usual on-the-go live streaming app in time (such as "Watch ABC" if you get Wheel on ABC), and you don't want to wait for the recaps or YouTube uploads. I actually have done this in this exact scenario once and it was so easy and fast to check the puzzle, since the scrolling screen has stills from every minute of the show.

Clippit supports all the major networks, although it does not support GSN. As for local affiliates, it will depend on where your phone is located, but no "spoofing" is necessary unlike Locast and CBS All Access (where the spoofing technique won't even work on their mobile apps). I have used the app in several cities and it seems that in most of them, it defaults to the New York City affiliates, in which case Wheel is on ABC at 7:30 PM Eastern. The only time I got another market's affiliates was when I was in Hartford, Connecticut, and it used the Boston affiliates instead (with Wheel on CBS at 7:00 Eastern). Give the app and try at 7:30 Eastern or Pacific and see what affiliates it gives you.

I have Sling TV and my affiliate, WPVI in Philadelphia, is not there. I usually watch Wheel on this website called ustvgo.com. So far, I have watched Wheel On these three affiliates:
WABC: ABC affiliate in New York, NY - airs at 7:30 PM ET
WPLG: ABC affiliate in Tampa, FL - airs at 7:00 PM ET
WSYT: FOX affiliate in Syracuse, NY - airs at 7:00 PM ET

So, the ustvgo.tv website works for me on my phone and FireTV! It’s a live stream of WABC 7 New York, so I’m currently watching Wheel at 6:30 CST. This makes me SO happy!!! I’ll actually get to see the season premiere without any preemptions!
