Wow, what an exciting week this has been! Our Let's Eat! contestants took home $299,880 in cash and prizes, this week. Highlights from this week include the three Bonus Round wins on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, Rich's $20K plus round on Wednesday's game, not to mention all three contestants on Wednesday's game each taking home more than $10K plus, and one of our staff members appearing on Tuesday's episode. We had our first Toss-Up Triple Stumper, this week, too, but besides that, this was definitely a crazy week. If the stars align correctly later down the line, we might have another staff member appear later this season.
Next week, we'll be saluting the Pacific Northwest with Great Northwest Week. Our last salute to the Pacific Northwest was back in Season 34, and was met with lukewarm results (though we didn't get skunked that week). With the way things have been going, this season, let's hope Great Northwest Week can keep us away from the skunk, and perform better than Season 34's version. This will also be my birthday week, with my birthday happening on Thursday's episode. I had great birthday episodes in seasons past (Season 30 being a fine example), so let's hope this trend also continues, in my regard.
