The Tournament of Champions is just two days of wrapping up, and so far it was exciting to watch, especially with James Hozhauer back on the Jeopardy! stage. He made both his quarterfinal and semifinal victories lock games, but played more conservatively than during his initial run. Emma Boettcher, the librarian who ended James' streak, also made it into the ToC. And the anticipated rematch between Emma and James in the two-game finals is for real, alongside 2019 Teacher's Tournament winner Francois Barcomb.
So what are your predictions for who will take home the $250,000 prize? Last night I dreamed that Francois lead at the end of the first game (because of his final scores in the quarterfinals and semifinals), James in second, and Emma third.
My prediction is that James is probably going to win it all, simply because of his runaway victories.

James took the lead in the first of the two final games, so there's a very good chance of him prevailing over Emma.

Cool. James escapes the spectre of being under Emma's thumb. It's the opposite of what's happened with Ken Jennings having to knuckle under to Brad Rutter, who's primary obsession in his game show life is to win tournaments.

Good. The way he played before, he's definitely a true champion.
Of course, I also gotta congratulate Emma on her performance as well, and for breaking the giant killer's curse. It was a tough one here, since James had a "crush" lead in the tournament, and Emma had to give a correct response in order to win.

And I even mentioned on jboard that the producers could've had Ken compete in the Season 22 ToC instead of holding the UToC and automatically placing him in the finals. In that way, he could've won a ToC.
