21 years ago today Wheel of Fortune celebrated its 3,000th nationally-syndicated episode in Las Vegas. The 3,000th show had a special historical retrospective that featured clips of old episodes including the Edd Byrnes Wheel of Fortune pilot in 1974 as well as Vanna White’s first show.
