Despite two Bonus Round wins, this season's edition of Girlfriend Getaways did not do as well as previous versions of this theme. Our Girlfriend Getaways teams took home $285,882 in cash and prizes, collectively, this week. Highlights from this week include the Bonus Round wins on Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday's $40K plus Main Game win by the yellow team thanks to them calling a multiple on the top dollar amount in the Mystery Round, and the yellow podium's domination, winning four out of five Main Games, this week. We did have a Toss-Up triple stumper, this week, but the highlights made up for it.
Hopefully, Girlfriend Getaways will not be our only team week of the season. We might see another team week later on, or at the very least, an America's Game episode with the Girlfriend Getaways set.
Next week is National Parks Week. This themed week usually does not do well in terms of winnings. We haven't had this themed week in a while, though, so maybe we'll be in for a nice treat, this time around. We'll also have a member of our site be on this themed week, so make sure to root for them when their episode airs.
