That's crazy. 4 weeks before Season 38 premieres. The fact that they are moving Season 37 to Saturdays this early must mean there will be a Season 38. As of Season 35 the first taping is on the last Thursday of July. Next Thursday is the last Thursday of the month so next Thursday we will probably find out through the show's Instagram story if they are taping on that day.

September 19 is, fittingly, the Season 37 premiere (9/9/19, Teacher's Week Day 1; Chriseni/Rachel/Dan).
September 26 is 12/30/19 (America's Game II Day 1, set of Let's Eat!; Debbie/Alicia/Kurt). This episode did not air in full on several FOX affiliates due to being scheduled right after the 2019 Redbox Bowl, which ran long and pre-empted the show through mid-R4. It will be pre-empted again on FOX since there is an MLB game scheduled for 7:00 PM Eastern on 9/26, but most of the FOX's move Weekend Wheel to air right before the game or on Sunday afternoon.
For Jeopardy!, their last rerun of Season 35 is 12/21/18 (Andrew [Day 2]/Ellie/Graham). Their first rerun of Season 36 is 2/3/20 (Michelle [Day 3]/Stephen/Travis).

That episode never aired on WBTW in Myrtle Beach, SC. Well on October 10 it will be airing on that station for the first time. Except it probably won't. WBTW still schedules Saturday Wheel at 7:00 PM Eastern during College Football season, which is immediately after CBS "thinks" the game will end. Last season, every single CBS College Football game ran later than 7:00 (largely thanks to CBS having a minimum of 15 minutes of postgame discussion after the actual game finishes, whereas the other networks usually do quick wrap-ups before signing off), meaning no Saturday rerun of Wheel ever aired in full on CBS affiliates that schedule it at 7:00 until after the sport was done for the year. The most they ever got was the second half of the episode a few times; most games ran until 7:30 so several reruns last season did not air on these stations. It's highly unlikely WBTW will air this episode (or any Saturday episode for the next several weeks) in full. Oddly, WBTW airs an infomercial at 7:30, with Saturday Jeopardy! relegated to 11:30 PM (but with a guarantee that it airs), and from what I remember last year, they don't slide Wheel to 7:30 if CBS signs off at that time. Baltimore will definitely get the second airing since they air the weekend run on WNUV, a CW affiliate. WBFF normally doesn't air Wheel on weekends; the makeup airing on Saturday 10/12/19 (at 7:00 PM instead of the normal 7:30 because MLB started at that time on that day) was done specifically for JJ and his family since that's his home market. As a result of their error and effort to make up for it, Wheel aired all seven days of the week in Baltimore that week. It's not often that you'll see a market air Wheel on a Saturday and Sunday. |

9/26's rerun was not the 12/30/19 episode that was listed. It was actually 4/10/20, America's Game IV Day 5 (set of UK Getaway), Jason/Kelly/Clare. buyavowel.boards.net/thread/11525/Any possible reason why 12/30/19 was pulled? Were there comments about New Years? EDIT: It was one of the episodes that had a special intro from Pat regarding his surgery, but no reason they couldn't just cut that out. I guess there's no longer a bias for episodes that didn't get a weekday rerun. Of the eight Saturday reruns from S37 so far, three of them already reran during the COVID hiatus on a weekday. There were also two S36 episodes that appeared in the Saturday rotation not long after airing on a COVID hiatus weekday.
Also, Jeopardy!'s reruns are taking a jump. 10/17 will finish the current stretch at 2/7/20 (S36 E110, Patrick [Day 2]/Guaravi/Brenda). 10/24 jumps to 3/31/20 (S36 E147, Kyle [Day 2]/J.R./Leanne)

That episode never aired on WBTW in Myrtle Beach, SC. Well on October 10 it will be airing on that station for the first time. Except it probably won't. WBTW still schedules Saturday Wheel at 7:00 PM Eastern during College Football season, which is immediately after CBS "thinks" the game will end. ... It's highly unlikely WBTW will air this episode (or any Saturday episode for the next several weeks) in full. Case in point...  |

J! takes another jump. 11/14 ends the current stretch with 4/3/20 (S36 E150, Felicity [Day 2]/Jeff/Shanon), the last ep before the College Championship. 11/21 jumps to 11/19/19 (S36 E52, Kevin [Day 2]/Shannon/Sathvik).
We may have a difference to look out for. 12/5's Wheel rerun had the closing where Vanna hyped her Bob Mackie gowns "next week". This wouldn't make sense now, so maybe they filmed an alternate closing for that episode (or they suddenly swap it out with another ep like they did with the New Year's 2019 closing).
Good news for CBS viewers this weekend. Saturday's College Football game was postponed, so Wheel should air at its normal time this Saturday without any worry of anything spilling into its time slot.
