Always use a Wild Card on a four-figure amount if there are multiples even if you can solve the puzzle. It's the equivalent in the speedup of just solving without calling a letter first, unless if there are only vowels. I'll bet that even if Kellie used it, her BR picks likely would still have been enough to solve it. I also knew R6 before the Final Spin bells went off, but we were this close from that elusive R7 game thanks to a couple of key duds. I've also noticed that by this point, Pat's enthusiasm for the Jackpot round (see the season finale) has waned quite a bit, even regarding high Jackpot amounts. IT still shows how much more exciting the show was prior to the MDW's introduction, and I even like the speedup background music used at the time; it seems to be forgotten due to its short lifespan and not as memorable as the original and the current one.

This was an all-new item back then and people haven't quite got the gist of it yet in the maingame. |
