Day 1 from Washington, D.C. from Season 18! This was the first week to use music in the speed-up round. Also, this week aired in November but the other two weeks didn't air until January and February that season!

I think their airing of different weeks in D.C. in different months set the tone for other remotes (ex. Las Vegas).

Boy what were the producers smoking when they set up the R2 wheel? Camile should’ve been thankful that she won the game thanks to that. Otherwise, she would’ve bankrupted and the winning total would’ve been much lower.
Rather tricky BR, but I got it off RSTLNE. And there was no reason for the audience to applaud after that RIVERBAND guess.

I actually managed to get the BR right as the letter N got lit up. I think this is the only time that the $10,000 wedge was offered twice in a single show, and we weren't far off from accomplishing this feat.
Nice to see these D.C. episodes turn up again, which is the same studio where I saw three episodes from the 2012 Jeopardy! Teen Tournament. With it being back-to-school time and football season getting ready to start, it may not be a bad time to show some NFL/College Week episodes too. I recently received four of the five 1999 College Week episodes from Philadelphia in a trade BTW, though that week has been recapped, but I'm not sure if its been posted online. The following episode is certainly worth posting if you have it since it was election day and as you know from 2012, many affiliates didn't air Wheel. Interesting to see a contest promo still using Changing Keys, which makes since since the 2001 game that resembles the arcade game Cyclone (but with better odds of activating the Wheel) uses the 1997 theme.

That was a tough R1. I've never heard of a SHOE RACK before.
I'm surprised they didn't throw out R2 entirely due to that error.
TU2 looked weird with the A by itself on the top row. Just bump it down a row, or get rid of the A entirely.
I thought that BR was very easy. I also think that applause on the wrong answer threw her concentration off.

On the subject of airing road trips across a few months, I don’t believe this was the first. Season 11 had I believe 6 WDW weeks broken up throughout the season, though they all taped at different points.

I forgot. And they split up their remote in Atlanta in 1996 (they actually had a week in the summer to celebrate that year’s Olympics).

That was really weird seeing the audience react like that to the BR puzzle. I'll bet if that happened today, they would have thrown out the puzzle and redone it.
