That's the second time I've seen someone get tripped up on GLOBE in the BR that didn't get any extra help from the letters (though the first chronologically - the episode I have is from S17). Props to Brad though for only being one letter off.

Props to Brad though for only being one letter off. They used it again in 2011. It did not go well, either: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUi82ob7JtE

Ooh, that was a painful one. It also further cements my theory that, when it's not what the contestants think it is, it trips them up and makes them lose focus. I can't speak myself as I've never been on the show, but I've seen many similar situations to this (there was an episode where the solution was BACK TO BASICS but the contestant said BACK TO THE BASICS and stood there in silence for the remainder of the time with a confused look on their face).

It's amazing how different everything feels.
Always surprised to see periods on the trilon board. Also odd that every puzzle had punctuation.
I understand the GLOVE/GLOBE mishap because I got tripped up on HYPE/HOPE both times it was set up.
