As you may know, I contribute to the Wiki that TenPoundHammer set up (see signature) and created the daytime-version timeline. Along the way, I discovered several interesting things including Nickname in 1979 and an amusing lack of consistency from 1980-83 with the three commercial cues (on a side note, what were their names?). ==== That aside, I ask today about the 1975 board games due to their unique place before the earliest circulating episode -- I've searched for (preferably full-color) PDFs of the instruction booklets with no success, so I turn to you: 1) What are the categories in both editions (including plurals)? 2) Do any puzzles use punctuation? 3) Around when were these two games released? (Spring, Summer, etc./April, May, etc.) Any help would be appreciated, so thanks in advance.

All that aside, I ask today about the 1975 board games due to their unique place before the earliest circulating episode: I am only able to answer for the first edition board game, but I don't have good reason to believe that the second edition is too different. 1) What are the categories listed in both editions (including plurals)? The categories used in alphabetical order are Event, Fictional Character, Landmark, Person, Phrase, Place, Thing, and Title. Not once did I see a "plural" category. 2) Do any of the puzzles use punctuation? No. The game does not come with any cards with punctuation marks on them and the one puzzle I paid attention to that would use punctuation ignores it, spelling it FISHERMANS WHARF instead of FISHERMAN'S WHARF. I don't know specifics about the board games were released; this was about 15 years before I was born.
