Day 1 of Week 2 from NYC from Season 17! I was in the audience for the first three shows of the day and so was MarioGS who has yet another childhood audience cameo with some amazing homemade Wheel art!

In the same room 21 years ago and suddenly reliving it. What a small world. That's my father on my left, by the way. I know the show's photographer took a shot of us and mailed it to us after the show aired. I'll have to find it.

Too bad there were some ugly moments, from a bad solve in the first round, to not U-voiding after sitting on a big amount of cash, to multiple teams attempting to calling multiple letters in the speedup, and a 12-second solve in the BR. I got R1 with just the T's. I'll bet if Mario attended this today, he'd not only bash the not so great players, but also the Tiger game featured in the sponsor plugs. But I'll still take the '90s/early '00s vibe over today's vibe anytime, especially with a big crowd cheering everyone on.

This is what I read on the Wheel of Fortune history wiki site: "The original Round 3 (SOFT PRETZEL VENDOR) is thrown out due to Pat accidentally crediting a team with a right answer when they said SALT PRETZEL VENDOR."
