Season 38 Pre-emptions and Anomalies

So is WBZ going to skip airing tonight's episode of Wheel?

mcclellandryan184 STOP! First, don't quote the post directly above you. It is not necessary. Secondly, about 90% of your post since you joined have been all about "is WBZ really preempting Wheel?" "Are they really skipping it?" "Are you sure they are?" If he says it's preempted, it's gonna be. Best way to find out? Turn your TV on to WBZ when Wheel is supposed to be on. If it's on, it's airing. If it's not, it'll air later or not at all. Period. End of story. But for the love of everything good, stop cluttering up threads with the useless nonsense!

Flooding their Emails and/or voicemails is not going to help our case and if anything, will annoy them to the point where they will pre-empt Wheel even more. Please stop that. When I contact stations, I stick to one Email or phone call per case and speak as professionally as possible. "Hello, do you know if you're going to re-air last night's episode of Wheel of Fortune? No? Oh, well. That's okay. Have a nice day."

And some people think I get crazy about contacting stations. I don't even bother with WBZ anymore since their programming director, Christine, seems very apathetic about Wheel fans in general and is clearly annoyed by Wheel fans hounding her (and from the looks of it, Jeopardy! fans too, but she throws them a bone now and then since it's the higher-rated show there).

Also, complaining that they're prioritizing Jeopardy! over Wheel? These are Alex Trebek's last episodes, which have already been delayed once. So you'll forgive everyone when they take priority over Wheel, when there is clearly more interest in Trebek.

Finally, to all of you- in case you didn't notice, there was an act of domestic terrorism in our country today, one which threatened our American way of life egged on by an egomaniac who refuses to accept that he lost the election. This takes priority over any game show anyday. Since he seems to care more about whether or not Wheel will air on his station than a major affront on our democracy, mcclellandryan184 can officially go post about it somewhere else, as his posting rights have been revoked.

What’s going on in our country tonight is more important than game shows. Yeah sure we may miss an episode of Jeopardy and Wheel but thank goodness for DVR’s right? Oh wait, some of your stations got preempted. Hopefully someone has a copy of it on YouTube.

CBS dropped SWAT at 10:00 for more coverage, so Wheel may air at 10:30 on the Pacific CBS's, like during the Election week. KNSD San Diego (NBC) announced that Wheel will air at 8:00, so the other NBC's will probably do the same.

EDIT: KOMO Seattle aired Wheel at the normal 7:00 Pacific.

I just want to give a heads up to anyone watching in the Detroit area on WDIV - I'm getting implications that tonight's Wheel of Fortune won't air at all to instead make way for last night's Jeopardy!, which got entirely bulldozed by last night's extended news coverage. Wheel of Fortune also did not air on WDIV the previous night. Here's the article that I'm getting suspicious about.

Scratch that. According to WDIV's site and a Detroit journalist on Twitter, tonight's Wheel will air at 3:30 AM Eastern, replacing the encore of Inside Edition. Would have been nice if they mentioned that in their article...
