WBZ hasn’t said whether Wheel will air tonight or not. Presumably, it will air at 1:37 AM Eastern or after Corden. But what if WBZ doesn't air tonight's episode of Wheel at all? Would it be delayed if the NFL game runs long? If the game runs long (which it probably will, given the Sunday games always do, much to the dismay of 60 Minutes and Big Brother fans), Wheel will still air after Corden if the station has it scheduled after it, just slid back. Wheel won't get skipped or joined in progress on East Coast stations scheduling it after Corden. Only the Mountain and Pacific primetime airings are in danger (especially in Albuquerque, where KRQE always cuts off Wheel in favor of Jeopardy! when the two are scheduled after events that run long). im Hoping KHOU(the CBS affiliate) will air it after James Corden According to the schedule on KHOU's website, Wheel will air at 2:12 AM Central at the earliest, following Corden, Daily Blast Live, an infomercial, and a repeat of the 10:00 news. I would also schedule the infomercial scheduled at 2:42 to record to be safe. |

The football game on CBS actually signed off early. Big Brother started around 9:50 PM Eastern, 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. CBS viewers hoping to catch Wheel overnight, pay attention to whatever time Corden starts. If it starts earlier than the usual 12:37 AM, you may want to record whatever show is before Wheel, otherwise you may lose the first two rounds.
Wheel may also start early on the Mountain Time Zone stations that are airing it at 9:00 or 9:30 after BB since there's no local news to pad before then.

WBZ's schedule on their website as well as Zap2it lists paid programming at 1:37am so i'm starting to worry that Wheel may not be airing at all but hey, what the heck.

^ DVR the 1:37 paid program anyway. I don't see why they wouldn't move it. They had plenty of hours in advance to schedule it overnight.
By the way, Big Brother aired with longer commercial breaks so that it would end at 11:00 Eastern. Wheel will air on time on the stations airing it overnight or in primetime.

^ Again... WBZ did not announce whether they would be airing Wheel or not. If they do, they will very likely air it at 1:37 AM after Corden, even if your TV guide doesn't say so. Just record 1:37 and see what happens. I will be up to check as well.

It's a no for WBZ.  However, WWMT in Grand Rapids, MI and WFMY in Greensboro, NC both aired Wheel at 1:37 AM Eastern despite not announcing it prior. Every CBS in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones aired the show as well - at 9:00 or 9:30 PM for Mountain, and 10:30 PM for the three Pacific ones. EDIT: KFSM in Fort Smith, AR aired Wheel at 1:07 AM Central. |

On Monday, due to NBC breaking news coverage lasting until 7:15 PM Eastern, the first half of Wheel was pre-empted on these East Cast NBC affiliates. All of R2 and the beginning of R3 were lost. Specifically, WTHR Indianapolis cut to Wheel as Xavier called D. FOX did not sign off at 7:00 on the dot like ABC did, so the beginning of Wheel may have been cut off on the FOX stations that air it at 7:00 Eastern. I caught the sign-off on a FOX station that does not air Wheel, and their 7:00 program (Dish Nation) was already in progress. However, I did check WSYT Syracuse shortly afterwards and Wheel was definitely on by the point where TU1 was solved.
Counting these, plus all CBS's, plus the two other markets that pre-empted it for unrelated reasons, Monday's episode was rescheduled, skipped, or interrupted in 38.5% of the US. That would be roughly the same as Wheel being pre-empted in the Top 15 markets.
