At first, I thought it was a bicycle handlebar grip, but I couldn't find any designs that matched the thing being used on the show, so I tried searching just "white handle grip" on various sites, and I found it.
It is a white vinyl grip meant for telescoping pool poles, which you use to clean swimming pools by attaching a skimmer or vacuum to the other end. It is made by Pentair, a water treatment company that also makes pool and spa equipment.
I bought one and, after comparing it closely and studying all the different angles we've seen people hold it in episodes, the publicity photos, and the various behind-the-scenes videos on Wheel's YouTube, I can say with 99% confidence that this is exactly what they are using to spin the Wheel.
