Pretty middle of the road episode for the era, but I'll certainly take an average episode from back then that still features competition late in the game and six rounds with a full credit roll even if R5 is a little long over today's "win R3 and you win the game", and I even don't mind if the BR prizes have no cars/cash, since art can be nice collectible investments and jewelry of course remains a symbol of gratitude. Those BR picks may still be the only know use of them as well. Nice to see no "ask you doctor" or cellphone commercials (just the old phone book!) as well and even a rather cheesy station promo for ABC 7!
Speaking of episodes from hard to find seasons, I've got one from Season 4 that I recently received in a trade coming soon that I'll post.

VTR Date 2/22/91. Adam and I were on the phone trying to confirm the air date. Luckily the Monday episode was a Saturday rerun in March 1992 as WREYtube has the closing chat. Pat mentions to Vanna “Welcome back we missed you” and that ties to the prior week with Tricia Gist substituting.
