Today, Pressman's first 5th Edition from 1991 is very difficult to get your hands on because of high asking prices for it on eBay (although I managed to get a copy last year), but I just found out on Instagram that Pressman has come out with a second 5th Edition. Seeing photos of it on eBay, it seems as if that the only major difference between this new edition and the 4th Edition from 2016 is the puzzles, but my big question is whether Pressman fixed the puzzle cards so that the lines beneath the in-puzzle letters appear correctly or if the cards continue to be more ideal for use on the Puzzle Boards from the 2008 Disney Edition, the 2009 regular Third Edition, and the 2009 Second Deluxe Edition.
With each new Wheel of Fortune game that Pressman releases, I'm also left to wonder if Pressman is planning to come out with a Third Deluxe Edition (considering that the Second Deluxe Edition was released just about alongside the regular Third Edition), and if so, what new and improved features it will have.

I just came across a photo at Instagram, and I presume it's of the new 5th Edition. The puzzle cards have a new font, and it seems to have a resemblance to a narrow version of Verdana. I can imagine the font change was made because of the problems with the letters and the lines below them misaligning with the Puzzle Board's windows in the 2016 4th Edition. I stated in a YouTube video four years ago that the cards in the 4th Edition were designed like the ones used in the 2008 Disney Edition and the 2009 3rd Edition and 2nd Deluxe Edition. The lines for the letters in the puzzle are now better aligned for the new 5th Edition.

My local Albertson's has it for close to $25.00. Not gonna lie I wasn't expecting to find it in the wild in a grocery store, but hey. I might have to snag it since I don't actually have a modern edition aside from the card game (not the good version either).

There is a smaller, “Quick Play” edition available for $5 at Five Below. The spinner is a bit smaller, Free Play actually has the proper rules, and there is no board or play money. Letters and scoring are kept on an included pad.

Color me intrigued there, Mario! If I come across one I'll have to check it out. There's no 5 below where I live, unfortunately.

I've also seen it at Dollar General.
