I like the Season 28 animated openings, too. My favorites out of those are America's Game (where Pat fails at lighting up a letter) and Teachers' Week (where Pat gets pelted with paper balls).

No doubt in my mind the dancing wedges intro from 1992-1994.

I almost forgot about that. But what I meant to say is if they brought back the Dancing wedges intro with the 1989-1992 theme just like on the Sega CD Game, that would be even better.

They should bring back the 1999 opening, 1999 wheel, 1999 puzzleboard, butI don't think that'll happen either.

1997 board: yes.
1999 opening and wheel: no.
How about the current wheel (and rules) with the 1997-2003 set and the 1975 theme.....that would be AWESOME! ;D

Personally, my favorite is the lighting of the Wheel of Fortune sign (w/ the Hollywood background) for the Season 27 into. My second favorite would be those animated intros from last season.

I wouldn't be surprised if they created another "Dancing Wedges" intro for the 30th Anniversary or better yet, do a collage of all the best opening sequences they've had over the years. Now that would be even cooler! Don't you think?

I really like the Dancing Wedges, but I must say I always liked seeing the contestants run to their podiums at the open of the show. The Sony marquee opening is another favorite.
