The part about the contestants running up to their podiums at the opening, that was another thing that got me started watching wheel.
Here's how I see the opening of the 30th Anniversary: We see the pink and purple lights on the wheel that usually flash during the Bonus round/Closing now flash during the opening, the contestants run up to their podiums, the Dancing Wedges sequence, and the 1989-1992 theme in the background. Just like on the Sega CD game.
How's that sound?
