www.vulture.com/2020/11/classic-the-price-is-right-episodes-streaming-pluto-tv.htmlIt's been over 20 years since we've seen reruns of Classic Price on TV. It appears to be episodes from '82 onward. To be honest, this surprises me just because of Barker's being so vocal about airing old episodes with "shunned" models. I wonder why Pluto can air them but Buzzr can't? Regardless, it's a bright spot on a dismal year, so I'm happy about it!

This is great news.
Now when will there finally be an authorized way to watch full Wheel episodes online? 🤨 It's literally the only game show left that doesn't have episodes on demand, streaming services, or on YouTube (officially).

I have a feeling that the only streaming of Wheel we will see is Celeb Wheel on Hulu since all of their game shows are on the next day after they air.

I've watched most of the first week on here, and I'll have to say its a must for any classic game show fan. Golden-road.net even has a #retrotpir discord, which comes in handy since as of this week, the new-to-Pluto episodes (six per day) begin their cycle at Noon eastern, immediately following the airings of first-run CBS episodes. Remember the old "Barker Wall" with the orange circles surrounded by green squares? The zig-zag pattern on the back of the turntable? The first pricing game to be played for multiple cars, It's Optional? Showcase themes that don't exist today like the Catalog, Time Capsule (set to the theme of Star Trek: The Movie), Main Street, and the department store? Old music cues that haven't been heard in a long time like Second Thoughts, Bhen, and Splendido? You'll find it there on TPIR: The Baker Era.
In essence, they're starting just like where GSN did for their 8 AM airings of their show following the "Dark Period" in April 1998, beginning with the second week of Season 12. For some reason, that premiere week of that season never apparently aired on GSN as one fan site features a calendar of games played on each show, and gray dates indicate an unconfirmed order of games played. A couple of unconfirmed shows have aired so far, and although an episode was skipped yesterday, they've aired every show except for one beginning with the second week of that season. Soon we'll see set changes ranging from the new green/purple/red/orange turntable pattern (featured in TPIR's '80s episode during a season premiere week), upcoming game debuts like the premiere of Plinko, and much more! I'm especially looking forward to the 1984-1990 episodes since except for the first half of Season 15, very few episodes from those years have aired on GSN, and you'll see quite a few unconfirmed lineups from that stretch.
It's a shame that there's no plans for something similar for Wheel, but I hope they do something similar, starting from the beginning of the canonized version in 1983. But that won't happen until after Pat/Vanna retire at the very least.
