Previously on Wheel of Fortune, Sheryl Senet won the game with $32,300 in cash plus a shopping spree to Furniture of America, although I still remember Chris' 3 bad missolves that scratched many viewers heads. However, she didn't quite remember a FORMER MAYOR in her city (Person, CDMO), so another $38,000 went down the crapper. Now, we're on a verge of our first shutout. Can any of these players put on a performance? It all comes down right now.

Jessica or one of these players (one's from the Bay Area) might be picking up that Highlander from their local CAR DEALERSHIP (I would've gotten the top word wrong w/ OUR)...
Jessica Maliepaard: By way of San Diego. Administrative assistant for a money management co. Married to Eric for 13 yrs. w/ 2 kids (12 & 10).
Ronnie Williams: San Diego (orig. from Chicago, IL). Starting his own cooking business from home. Also sings in bands (jazz, gospel choirs, etc.) and has 8 kids.
Hayley Parker: San Jose. Digital marketing strategist for a commercial cleaning co. Recently bought a boat w/ her boyfriend & 4-month-old puppy. Played water polo throughout college (her school won their first championship in that sport).
CC misspelled Jessica's last name as Malleopard.

Well, that was a PERFECT ROUND, but not in the way that we wanted it to be. Anyway, Jessica will be seeing the COLORFUL ARCHETECTURE on her trip to ARUBA (Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort) worth $8,300, giving her $13,050 that round.
Pre-Triple Tossup Scores:
Jessica: $18,200 cash & trip
Ronnie: $3,250
Hayley: Bad Luck
Jessica didn't request to solve this time around - if that happened, Pat would've nudged her to go all the way. Like the host said, there's more money ($6K to be exact) for the Christmas party!

Triple Tossup: What Are You Doing?
1.
_ _ T E N D I _ G

Jessica's not ATTENDING A MEETING, but she's correct anyway.

You should be PAYING ATTENTION at all times when you're up there, and Hayley finally has some dough.

I'm prone to FALLING FAST ASLEEP on those recaps at times, and Hayley's starting the next round.

$100,000 Bonus Round
Jessica lands on the C (that's where the $100K was on Tuesday).
RSTLNE:
_ _ _ _ S
_ N _ / _ _ L S
KYJEI:
_ _ _ K S
_ N _ / _ _ L S
Interesting selection of letters, but they're obviously of limited help and Jessica's not even close with TICKS AND AILS. They were HAWKS AND OWLS and there goes the Toyota Highlander. That means we've been SKUNKED this week for the first time in the Mike Richards era (also the second straight one on this theme week) and she'll have to settle for $25,150 cash & trip.
BTW, Jessica's reasoning for picking those letters (secret code to foreign powers) doesn't fly with me. Sorry.
Closing Chat: There's an owl in Vanna's neighborhood. He sometimes goes to Vanna's chimney. Also, Pat says that owls live about 32.5 years...and he's obviously wrong.
Secret Santa reminder in the end credits.
Personal Rating: 4
Better Luck Next Time!
Well I certainly did not expect a carbon copy of the previous season...well, there weren't any bad episodes this time around (except for maybe Friday), so I guess that's a minor plus. Anyway, our contestants only gave away $207,540, which is pretty good for a 0-5 week. Highlights include a couple of 5-rounders at the beginning of the week, most episodes having a 5-figure second placer and we also had some fun contestants along the way. It may not be the worst week ever, but this week could've been so much better.
Weekly Rating: 6
The next couple of weeks are part of the Wheel of Fortune Consumer Cellular Secret Santa Holiday Giveaway, which means that all of you should have your Spin IDs at the ready. As for now, well I promised to get drinks for everyone so that we can get our minds out of this week, so here's a recipe for the Noki Bay Breeze (there's a similar recipe in the comment section for non-alcoholics).
