From Sony Pictures Studio, it's America's game! More Sand & Sea coming your way!
And a Toss-Up comes your way...
Go!
Janice solves CAST OF CHARACTERS.
We have an interesting cast here:
Janice Moore: Flight attendant (but one who likes digging and planting flowers), from Frederick, MD
Steve Traska: Performer at a 50's diner, graduated from UNLV and now in community theater, born and raised in Las Vegas, NV
Frances Robinson: Attorney, from Scottsdale, AZ (and actually tried out for Wheel 20 years ago)
Is this cast ready for another Toss-Up?
Go!
Steve solves MALIBU BEACH.
Someone ought to hit that one-third $10,000 space! It'll make them feel like a star.
Janice solves WE'RE JUST ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY. Pat is almost to slow to get his chance at the usual hug.
Janice solves TUPPERWARE PARTY POOPER.
It's time for the Mystery Round again. There's one BANKRUPT that could ruin the party. However, there's also a prize: a Crystal Cruises Alaskan cruise worth $15,600!
We definitely needed a break after that. Let's refresh with a Toss-Up.
Go!
Steve guesses POLYESTER LEOPARD...then stops.
Janice immediately solves POLYESTER LEISURE SUITS. Pat decides when this is over, he'll watch The Sheepshank Redemption.
I guess that was a good laugh. Now let's get to another round.
DING DING! DING DING!
Janice spins before the puzzle is revealed as well as over the Final Spin chimes!
But Janice is done spinning, and now Pat will have his turn. Consonants are worth $600 + $1,000 for $1,600 a piece.
Janice: F ($2,800)
Steve: S (x2) ($3,200)
Frances: T (DUD!)

Steve: A (x3) ($3,200)
Frances: N (x2) ($3,200)

CLUE |
Janice reads what's on the board...but mispronounces SHEEPSHANK (as "sheep's hank"). Her guess isn't accepted.
Steve reads the board properly (pronouncing it as "sheep-shank"). Supposedly, this is the first time SHEEPSHANK was used on the show, another observation from Pat.
Steve could also add $3,000 to his total if he figured out the clue.
This, he doesn't know, as he guesses rugs. Janice apparently does, but no bonus is available for knots.
Pat decides to demonstrate a sheepshank with Steve's necktie. He fixes it just before the break.

...with zero results. Pat thanks her for being here, but they play anyway.
After time runs out, Pat guesses BIG HAIR, which would be a Thing. The answer was JOB FAIR...
...and Janice won't be earning an extra $25,000. She will still be leaving with $12,550 in cash.
Pat uses the post-game to promote "Scotch & Soda" week, which Vanna corrects to the actual "Sand & Sea" week.
More importantly, they share a heartwarming story of a past contestant, Esther Evans! She was going through a tough time in her life, and that time on Wheel actually saved her life. She was on chemotherapy, and she mentions how Vanna and Pat opened their arms to have her on the show, where she won $15,550 in cash! She got an apartment, plenty of furniture, and a computer...and she was able to go back to work! Things went really well!
