I may have shared some of these drawings once before but in poor camera quality.... But I always have a lot of fun drawing these creative masterpieces, it's a great form of therapy for me (especially with this seemingly never-ending pandemic) …. ^ The legendary Mr. Bob Barker, 35-year veteran Host of "Price is Right" from September 4, 1972 - June 15, 2007 (and Winner of 18 Daytime Emmys) ^ The illustrious one, Mr. Rod Roddy, sequined jacket wearing announcer from February 17, 1986 - October 20, 2003 (passed away just 7 short days after his final episode) ^ Janice Pennington, the longest-serving model in ALL of "Price is Right" history (September 4, 1972 - December 13, 2000), for a record-breaking 28 years ^ Holly Hallstrom, the fan favorite (known for her mishaps & bloopers with various prizes & set designs), from February 1977 (officially) - October 27, 1995 ^ Kathleen Bradley, the show's very permanent African-American (and sassy) Barker's Beauty from December 24, 1990 (officially) - December 13, 2000 ^ Dian Parkinson, the bikini-clad vixen & second longest-serving model from November 3, 1975 (officially) - June 18, 1993 ^ Bob with long-time veteran "Price is Right" producer Roger Dobkowitz (all 35 years with Mr. Barker & the first year-and-a-half with Drew Carey). I had drew this for Roger's birthday (hence the birthday cake in the drawing) and shared with him & on other "TPiR"-related groups on Facebook.

^ my series of drawings of the very popular Plinko game, the sign that was used for the game's intro, from January 1984 - December 2002 ^ the Plinko board (the was the second board/color scheme that was introduced in 1991) ^ and the Plinko podiums that concealed small prizes the players could win, along with more Plinko chips for the Plinko board

This series of "Price is Right" drawings are my newest & most recent, this was one of my all-time favorite pricing games, that was a lot of fun to watch: Super Ball (February 3, 1981 - January 12, 1998). With these drawings, I wanted to challenge myself and I set this up as if it were an actual "Price is Right" show..... ^ "("Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour" theme music) In Door #1, a Terrific New Kitchen ! (Janice Pennington models, audience cheering)" ^ "In Door #2: a Beautiful Brass Bed ! (Holly Hallstrom models, audience cheering)" ^ "and in Door #3: a New Sport Boat ! (Dian Parkinson models in a swimsuit, audience cheering louder)" ^ "It's a Super Ball prize package worth $12,395 ! (audience applauding)" ^ I went all out with this one as I even included the small prize podiums (these were first introduced sometime in 1987) with the 3 numbered balls that each corresponded with the 3 major prizes behind the big doors. For the small prizes, I included a portable space heater, a Presto Salad Shooter & a Norelco men's shaver. ^ and last but not least, you can't play Super Ball without the SUPER BALL (where the player could win all 3 major prizes or bonus money) & the small prize to go with it as I drew an Iced Tea Pot (took this one I saw on a "Price is Right" show from 1994)

^ Another one of my all-time favorite pricing games, the Range Game (debut: April 3, 1973). I always got a kick of the joke that Mr. Bob Barker would make where he'd tell the contestant after he/she stopped the rangefinder, they couldn't start it again for 37 hours ^ "("Phaser" prize cue) an Exciting New Snowmobile ! (Kathleen Bradley models in a parka, audience cheering) I set it up as if this were an actual "Price is Right" show (as I did with the Super Ball drawings) by including a prize, along with the game being played ^ Another one of "Price is Right's" many games still being played today, Magic # (debut: September 14, 1992) ^ Along with two prizes to go with the drawing (only natural) "("Rye Bread" prize cue) a Comfortable Sofa & a Colorful Sailboat (Holly Hallstrom & Dian Parkinson model, audience cheering)"

^ The very first pricing game to be named after Mr. Bob Barker, named Barker's Bargain Bar (debuted on April 22, 1980). I always loved the set design "("The Cats" prize cue) a Comfortable Sofa & a Freestanding Fireplace ! (Janice Pennington & Dian Parkinson model, audience cheering)" ^ Another one of "Price's" longest standard games that is still played today: Most Expensive (debuted on October 16, 1972), this was my favorite design (and probably the best known) that was used from 1984-2010. "("Second Thoughts" prize cue) a New Color TV, an Elegant Dinette & New Golf Equipment ! (Janice Pennington, Kathleen Bradley & Holly Hallstrom model, audience cheering) ^ Another thing I loved about Most Expensive (at least with the 1984-2010 blue set) was whenever it would be played for 3 trips, all 3 of the big doors would be used, each one concealing a trip skin representing the trip destination. "(1983 Vacation prize cue) an Exciting Trip to Australia ! (Janice Pennington models, audience cheering)" ^ "a Wonderful Trip to Seattle ! (Dian Parkinson models, audience cheering)" ^ "and a Delightful Trip to Ireland ! (Holly Hallstrom models, audience cheering)

These next series of drawings are some of the first-ever "Price is Right" drawings I did (I was a senior in high school, 2006)... ^ the Showcase Showdown wheel (with the 1988-2008 design), it looks a little rusty but this was the VERY FIRST "TPiR" drawing I sat down and drew on paper. It was always funny when there would be a contestant who didn't get the wheel all the way around and the audience would boo them... ^ One of the show's many games that is still played today: the Grand Game (debut: May 16, 1980), one of the most memorable moments of this game occurred in November 1980 when the $10,000 was won for the very first time and the contestant (a lady named Pauline from Samoa) chased Bob across the stage (as he always feared Samoans) ^ Yet another one of the many pricing games that is still played on "Price is Right" today: Make Your Move (debut: September 11, 1989), I like the design of the game but what I truly loved was the prize cue that was used for the game (cue 210A, from sometime in 1990 until around 2010-2011) and one of my all-time favorite prize cues ^ This is another one of my all-time favorite games on the show & still played today: Safe Crackers (debut: April 27, 1976). This design was first introduced in December 1985 with the logo flashing in neon green and watching this with my grandpa growing up, I used to think that this was an ACTUAL, REAL safe (but it wasn't). But perhaps the best known thing about this game was it's use of the "Pink Panther" theme music (used from it's 1976 debut to late 1991)

Your work is amazing, and I wish I had that much talent, but I have one little nitpick... and since the only thing I can find to complain about is a nitpick, it means you've done a good job. The Barker-era doors have twelve panels each...yours only have ten. Great job otherwise though!

At this moment, I'm currently working on some new "Price is Right" drawings that I will be posting & sharing in the coming days/weeks. I'm often asked about my drawings, how long do they take me to work on, what do I use to color them, etc. ^ I often try to stock on my art supplies at least every two months (sometimes longer), I always use Ticonderoga brand pencils (my personal favorite) ^ To color my "Price is Right" drawings (and well as the "Wheel of Fortune" drawings I've done), I always use colored pencils as I always like to use different brands (someone thought I used watercolors for these one time). When I'm working on my drawings, they take me anywhere from 8-10 hours a day to nearly a week to do, this is only because I like to take my time with the drawings and not rush (I'm constantly erasing & redoing) and once the drawings are completed, before I color them, I outline the drawings with a pen (as this was an old trick my art teacher in high school taught me) and it can be a challenge at times because the pens will sometime skip when outlining. The drawings may take me a long time to work on but nevertheless, I enjoy what I do, it is very easy to be happy when you enjoy what you do

I'll try my best to add in the 12 panels in future "Price is Right" drawings, I'm currently working on some new ones now

While I'm still working on a new "TPiR" drawing, here's another one of my older drawings (and also to keep this thread active) of another one of my all-time favorite pricing games (and perhaps one of the easiest): ^ Penny Ante (January 25, 1979 - June 14, 2002). I loved the design and the cool colors. Perhaps another thing this game was best known for was it's unique sound effect when Mr. Bob Barker pressed one of the green & blue price buttons as the penny lights in one of the board sections lit up towards a corresponding price & the panel dropping to reveal either "Yes" or "No". The sound effect for this game was also used on shows like Alex Trebek's "Double Dare", "The Joker's Wild" & "Strike it Rich '86"

The sound effect for this game was also used on shows like Alex Trebek's "Double Dare", "The Joker's Wild" & "Strike it Rich '86" Let's not forget that that sound effect was also used when contestants buzzed in on "Tic Tac Dough" on CBS in 1978. Aside from that, excellent drawing.

^"("Amen, Brother Herbert" prize cue) A New Catamaran ! (Dian Parkinson models in a bathing suit, audience cheering)" ^ Another one of my favorite "TPiR" games; Bullseye (debut: July 1, 1976). Watching the show with my Grandpa growing up, whenever this game would appear, I used to call it "The Target Game" because it's SHAPED like a target, the store logo (LOL)
